Expertise

Johannes Thies is working in our Corporate Practice and China Desk in Hamburg. He mainly advises medium-sized companies from Germany and abroad as well as their shareholders and executive bodies on commercial and corporate law issues. He supports Finnish companies in their activities on the German market in Finnish. His main areas of advice include:

• Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
• Shareholder disputes
• Enforcement or defence of liability claims against members of corporate bodies and senior executives
• Restructuring and transformation measures
• International sales and distribution agreements
• Commercial law (incl. transport, customs and freight law)
• Legal issues related to licensing and approval procedures, in particular related to the manufacturing and import of products in/into Germany
• Insolvency law (in particular in connection with liability claims against corporate bodies)
