Lecture on 'Climate Change Legislation in Germany
Our partner, Dr. Olaf Schulz-Gardyan, spoke at the conference of the British-German Jurists' Association in Manchester about 'Climate Change Legislation in Germany'. The lecture dealt with the measures that Germany has taken to achieve its climate protection goals, as well as the measures expected following the monitoring report on the status of the energy transition commissioned by the federal government. He followed a lecture by Lord Carnwath on 'Climate Change Litigation', which provided a global overview of proceedings against states, authorities, and companies aimed at preventing greenhouse gas emissions.
