Supplemental drug patent protection in Vietnam
The Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Vietnam provides for a supplemental drug patent protection. Meanwhile, Vietnam has implemented this provision in the new IP law. However, the implementation mechanism is unlikely to satisfy foreign drug manufacturers.
